F. There are ten continents in the abdominal region. The reproductive organs are           located in the last continent of the abdomen.

G. Reproductive organs are located according to gender.



  1. 2.General Organization :

(1). Outpost:


All six bays are enclosed and protected by an outer frame. It is shaped like a shield.

(2). HEAD:



The head is round or ovoid in shape. The organs of the head are:

*Hypopharynx lies above the lower lip. The salivary duct passes through it. So it can also be called tongue part. There are two sense organs called palpi with nodes. They serve as tactile and gustatory organs. .


Mouthparts are of two types:

A. Having chewing mouthparts (Example: Tattukili)


b. have sucking mouthparts (eg mosquitoes)

There are also large compound eyes. Some six-gallies have simple eyes.


(3). CHEST:



*The chest is made up of three continents. Anterior chest, middle chest and lateral 


*chest. Each continent has a pair of five-jointed legs. There are two pairs of wings on each side of the middle thorax and the thorax.
